pointIL PROGETTO "E-PALS GLOBAL COMMUNITY"

Sure. Here are some photos of the graduation from preparation to actual ceremony. Students were instructed by teachers to arrange the carpets, tables, chairs, decorations according to the planned set-up.
We had 11 graduating students (3rd Year) which were introduced one by one at the very beginning of the ceremony. They entered the gymnasium led by their homeroom teacher and walked in a single file slowly. Everything was rehearsed and the timing of each program was observed carefully.
Each of them will be called to get their certificates on stage.
A member of the Board of Education and President of PTA would make their speech for graduating students followed by a representative of the 3rd year's speech (mostly thanking the teachers, parents, and important guests).
Everyone would sing mainly 3 songs: The National Anthem, School Anthem, and Graduation Song.
There were also exchanges of messages between graduating students and lower years. The messages are written on a special paper composed of collective messages from each year level which are read by a representative.
Lastly, the graduating students would make their last march to exit the gymnasium gracefully led by their homeroom teacher again.
So this is the kind of Graduation Ceremony in a typical Junior High School. It is more solemn and serious than other Graduation Ceremonies I have known.
How about there? Can you describe how the ceremony goes in your school?
Warm Regards,
Tomas

Could you please send some pictures of the cerimony?
By the way I've just come back from England where I visited with my son the town of Bath, near Bristol. It's an old Roman town with amazing ancient baths! You should visit it! I'd like to return there!
Bye for now!

Hi Tom,all's well here.I'll show your exchange corner to my students, they'll be very happy.Last week we went to the theatre to see "The Canterville Ghost" played by young native-speakers actors of Palkettostage company from Britain . It  was amusing and exciting for all my students and also for me even if I see a different play every year with different students.I live a great emotion because there are song and dances too and actors are able to involve the audience! I'll send you my students' mail and some pictures about this experience as soon as possible.Next week I'm going to England to meet my son in Bristol and I'm looking forward to leaving!
Have a nice week

I am going to let my students see that video or if you have any interesting pictures to show around your place will be much appreciated.  As for some photos here, I will post them here on this e-mail.

Dear Alberto,
Thank you for sending the effort of showing us the beautiful video of Salento. It really impressed me. That place is something beyond my expectation of what Italy does look like. Do you live close to that place? I am going to show that video to our class for them to have an idea of what some other parts of Italy look like.
I could say that you and yoyr father have a great appreciation of the beauty of nature and arts as well.
Please keep me posted on what's new and interesting there.

Dear Lorella,
Are you enjoying your winter break? I got the video you sent to Jordan and watched it. It was interesting to know how Vanessa made the dessert for Christmas. It was in the shape of a fish. That is similar to desserts they make here in Japan. Normally, they put "anko" or bean paste inside the rice cake. Also, I would like to share how most of us decorate our houses and prepare dishes for Christmas. Please enjoy the photos.

Warm Regards,
Tomas Bartolome Jr.

MAIL FROM INDIA TO OUR STUDENT

Hi Francesco
It’s very good to hear from you!
We have regular school transactions and have one morning assembly every day celebrating the national and international days in the month. We have one more Annual Day coming up, which I think will be in the first half of January month itself. Right now we have Bharat Scouts and Guides programme going on. PFA the photos.
This besides, students in every class higher than grade II have to do projects and maintain a profile, to which they keep adding stuff now and then.
Right now I will be writing an exam from 19th till 21st December. Will have more time to respond later.
So that’s what we do in our school!
Ananya
